Current Projects
Arctic Arise is currently supporting the Cambridge Bay Childcare Society with Inuit cultural initiatives and programming aimed to revitalize the Inuinnaqtun language and support local culture within the daycare community.
Administrative work includes writing funding proposals, reporting, and administering funding opportunities, as well as supporting the board in other duties as requested.

5 years experience on the Cambridge Bay Childcare Society board, 1 year as the Chair and working closely with the manager. Good understanding of the workings of daycare in Nunavut.

6 years experience working as the Kitikmeot Regional Land Administrator, therefore in depth knowledge of the processes involved with municipal leases and land management.

2 years working as a Tenant Relations Officer plus 1 year on the Local Housing board. I’ve seen and experienced first-hand the struggles of suitable housing needs in the north.
